Memorial Fund Donations
What better way to honor the memory of a loved one than with a donation to the Caribou Public Library Memorial Fund?
A memorial gift to CPL is a meaningful and lasting way to remember a loved one. This tribute will be shared with many others through books or other materials purchased for the library’s collection – oftentimes materials that may not have been purchased otherwise. The entire Caribou community will appreciate your thoughtful gift for years to come.
Gifts like this are a lasting way to support literacy and remember a life well-lived. When you are ready to make your memorial donation, you will be asked to complete a form. On that form, you may indicate an area of your loved one’s interest, and we will purchase books in that designated category. You may also specify that the library use your donation to purchase needed items. Once we receive the books or items, a special placard inscribed with the names of both the person being memorialized and the donor will be created and placed with the purchase. A letter advising of your donation will be sent to the loved one’s immediate family.
